Need a school field trip idea? Roller skating is a fun and fantastic way to reward students either throughout the school year or as a year-end celebration. It is an activity that develops their coordination, is physically active, and gives them the chance to have fun with their classmates in a different environment.

At Arlington Skatium, we have successfully hosted school field trips for over 20 years. As the largest skating facility in Texas, you not only get access to our wood skating rink but also to our arcade and snack bar now featuring two new pizza ovens. We are also conveniently located centrally between Dallas and Fort Worth in South Arlington.

Attention parents and teachers! We are excited to announce in addition to our regular field trips, we now offer educational STEM based field trips, that combine education with recreation. School Field Trips

Hosting your school field trip with Arlington Skatium means hassle free entertainment for teachers and students. We take care of everything. Our talented DJ will act as your host and lead fun, on-rink games for those that like to skate and test their skills. All on-rink games are based on the ages of the students with some of our most popular games including Red Light Green Light, Limbo, Races, and Dice Game.

School Field Trip Packages

At Arlington Skatium we offer a selection of school field trip packages.We appreciate advanced bookings but can usually accommodate any size group with a minimum of 50 children on short notice.

We want to share the love of roller skating with our community. When you book your package with us, please provide your tax exemption form and teaching license so we can provide you with a tax exemption and our school field trip rates.

Basic Package: $8+tax

• Admission and basic skate rental

 

Drink Package: $9+tax

• Admission, basic skate rental and 16oz drink

 

Snack Package: $10+tax

• Admission, basic skate rental, 16oz drink and 1 snack

*Snack is Cheez-Its or Animal Crackers

 

Food Package: $11+tax

• Admission, basic skate rental, 16oz drink, 1 snack and 1 slice of pizza

*Snack is Cheez-Its or Animal Crackers & Pizza options are cheese or pepperoni*

 

Extra Food Package: $12+tax
